NOTE: Due to the fact that there were not enough non-fiction entries for that category to be competitive, that category has been eliminated for 2017 (we will try again in 2018) and the awards are being modified as follows: The grand prize, 1st place, award remains the same. One $1,000 award will be given to second place. Two ‘honorable mentions’ will be declared, and these each will receive $100. More info here.
